⚔️The Time Assassination Report: How You’re Killing Your Most Valuable Asset

The Brutally Honest Breakdown of Where Your Time Is Really Going

Hello, kickers!

🚨 The Kick is Here: The AI Arsenal That Stops the Bleeding

Hoping everyone had a great Christmas and wishing you all a joyful and prosperous New Year! This week’s issue is all about reclaiming the time you keep losing — not because you’re undisciplined, but because your systems are failing in ways you no longer notice. In the main article, we break down the four “time assassins” silently draining your capacity every day, and the AI-powered systems that stop the bleeding and give you back 25 hours per week. This isn’t about working harder — it’s about architecting a business that finally supports the life you’re building.

Inside, you’ll also find this week’s Breakthrough Performance Report, a fresh lineup in What’s Kickin’ on Social, a book recommendation that reinforces the mindset shift required to build leverage, and a reminder about the upcoming IMPAKT Live event in Newport Beach. ⚔️ The Time Assassination Report: How You’re Killing Your Most Valuable Asset

You don’t have a time problem. You have a system problem that’s pretending to be a time problem.

Let’s get something straight at the top:
You’re not running out of time — you’re leaking it.

Every week, martial arts school owners tell me the same thing:

“I don’t have time to build systems.”

It would be funny if it weren’t so destructive.
You’re too busy drowning in chaos to build the systems that would stop the drowning.

You don’t have a shortage of hours — you have a thousand invisible cuts stealing them.
Death by interruptions.
Death by context-switching.
Death by answering the same question for the 47th time this month.

Today, I’m going to show you the four assassins killing your time…
AND the AI systems that stop the bleeding instantly.

Let’s begin.

ASSASSIN #1: Switch-Tasking (The Silent Killer of Deep Work)

You think you’re multitasking.

You’re not.

You’re switch-tasking, and it’s wiping out your ability to think clearly.

Here’s your actual workday:

You start Q1 planning → Slack notification → Parent complaint → Back to planning → Email about scheduling → Back to planning → Staff question → Back to planning…

Congratulations.
Your 30-minute task just turned into two hours.

Research says every task switch costs 15–25 minutes of full cognitive reset.
Most school owners switch tasks 20–30 times per day.

That’s 5–12 HOURS PER WEEK spent just rebooting your brain.

Your exhaustion isn’t from hard work.
It’s from never doing any actual work.

The Fix:

90-minute deep work blocks.
Phone off. Slack off. Email closed.
One task. Zero switching.

But even that fails if your team keeps interrupting you.

Which brings us to the next assassin…

ASSASSIN #2: The “Quick Question” Tax

Count your interruptions today.

Now multiply each by 5 minutes — the real cost once you factor in context switching.

Most owners take 15–25 interruptions per day.

That’s 75–125 minutes gone. Every. Single. Day.

And here’s the part nobody likes hearing:

80% of these questions should never reach you.

They’re not strategic.
They’re not emergencies.
They’re not unique.

They are the same questions you’ve answered 30 times:

• “Where’s the belt testing form?”
• “What’s our freeze policy?”
• “How do I process a refund?”
• “Can you approve this?”

This isn’t a training failure. It’s a systems failure.

The Fix:

An AI-powered knowledge base.

Not a dusty Google Drive.
Not a Notion page nobody checks.

I’m talking about a system where your staff can type:

“How do I process a membership upgrade?”

…and get the exact SOP in two seconds.

Suddenly, you go from 20 daily interruptions → to 3.
And those 3 are valid leadership decisions, not admin work.

That’s 15 hours per week back.

ASSASSIN #3: Manual Work You Swear “Only Takes a Minute”

This lie is costing you your life:

“It’s faster if I just do it myself.”

It’s faster once.
It’s a disaster long-term.

The hidden math:

• Email replies — 2+ hours/week
• Google review responses — 10 min/week
• Social comments — 20 min/week
• Member onboarding — 80 min/week
• New hire onboarding — 12 hours/month

You’re spending 5–7 hours per week doing tasks AI can handle automatically.

The Fix:

Automate it.

Today.
Not someday.

AI now handles:

• Email drafts
• Google review replies
• Social comment responses
• Member onboarding sequences
• New hire onboarding + SOP walk-throughs

The tools exist. The workflows exist.
What’s missing is your decision to stop bleeding time.

Would you rather:

Spend 4 hours building systems…
or 5 hours PER WEEK doing repetitive tasks forever?

The math answers itself.

ASSASSIN #4: Decision Fatigue (Why You’re Exhausted by Noon)

You make 35,000 decisions per day.

Most are tiny.
But they all drain energy.

So when the big decisions arrive — hiring, strategy, growth — you’re running on fumes.

That’s why your worst decisions happen after lunch.

The Fix:

AI handles the analysis so you only make the final call.

• AI reviews your finances
• AI analyzes your marketing data
• AI screens candidates
• AI stress-tests your strategic ideas

This isn’t “AI replacing you.”
This is AI supplementing your brain so you stop wasting energy on low-value decisions.

Think of it like having a $50K/year analyst on your team… for $20/month.

THE COMPOUND EFFECT: Why This Actually Matters

Let’s add up what you get back weekly:

• Switch-tasking eliminated: 5–12 hours
• Interruptions eliminated: 10–15 hours
• Manual work automated: 5–7 hours
• Decision fatigue reduced: 5–8 hours

Conservative total: 25+ hours per week.

That’s not a productivity hack.
That’s a full day of your life — reclaimed, every week.

But this isn’t about working less.
It’s about finally having the bandwidth to:

• Think strategically
• Build real systems
• Train your team
• Grow your school
• Spend time with your family
• Protect the legacy you’re building

Every hour you waste on tasks AI could do
is an hour stolen from the future you say you want.

THE PATH FORWARD

If this feels overwhelming, good. It means you’re waking up.

Because the thought you’re having right now —
“I don’t have time to set this up”
is exactly why you need it.

You’re too busy drowning to learn how to swim.

So here’s what I’m doing:

I’m hosting 3 FREE masterclasses where I walk you through all 6 AI systems we use to reclaim 25 hours per week.

These are the exact automation frameworks we run across all our companies:

• The AI knowledge base that eliminates team interruptions
• The onboarding automation that handles new students
• The AI decision system that acts like a second brain
• The review/email/social response automations
• The hiring automation that pre-screens candidates
• The financial dashboard that tells you exactly where you’re bleeding

Not theory.
Not hype.
Actual systems you can install.

THE BOTTOM LINE

You have two choices:

1. Keep operating the way you are.

Bleeding hours.
Repeating work.
Putting out fires.
Wondering why nothing changes.

2. Architect a different reality.

Where systems do the repetitive work,
AI handles the cognitive load,
and you finally have the capacity to lead.

The school you want —
scalable, predictable, freedom-focused —
won’t happen by accident.

It happens by design.

And the design starts with taking your time back.

and let’s build the system that gives your life back.

— Adam

P.S.
If you’re waiting for “things to calm down” before you implement systems, let me be direct:
Things never calm down.
You design calm.
The question is how much more of your life you’re willing to sacrifice before you finally make the shift.

See you next week.

📖 What We’re Reading: Amplifiers by Matt Church

This week’s book is all about becoming the kind of leader whose presence doesn’t just manage people — it magnifies them. In Amplifiers, Matt Church breaks down the power of motivational leadership and how the best leaders inspire action, create clarity, and elevate the performance of everyone around them.

For martial arts school owners, this book hits directly at the heart of what makes a school thrive: a leader who communicates with conviction, drives momentum, and builds a team that moves because they believe in the mission — not because they’re told to.

Key Takeaways for School Owners:

✅ You don’t have to invent the next big thing—you just have to run ordinary businesses extraordinarily well.
✅ Buy back your time and build real assets instead of staying chained to the mat.
✅ If your school is already profitable and systemized, you’re halfway to being a buyer—or seller—yourself.

This isn’t just a book about business—it’s a book about taking control of your future through smart, strategic ownership.

Your content could be featured in an upcoming edition of The Kick and shared with martial arts school owners around the world!

🔥 That’s a Wrap for This Week!

As you head into the week, remember this: the life and business you want won’t be built by finding “more time” — it will be built by eliminating the things that steal it. Every hour you lose to interruptions, context-switching, manual work, and micro-decisions is an hour stolen from your family, your mission, and the future you keep saying you want. Everything in this issue points to one truth: when you automate the repetitive, document the predictable, and offload the mental load to systems and AI, you stop drowning and start leading again.

Don’t wait for things to slow down — they won’t.
Design calm. Build leverage. Take your time back. And as always—stay sharp, stay relentless, and keep kicking forward. 👊🔥 #TheKick
